Back in 2019 I took a notary training course with Desiree Roman, which I found to be very thorough and helpful. 

Recently, I had to renew my notary status and decided to take a refresher training with a different company just in case there had been any changes or new laws/procedures, etc. I just wanted to say that the new training was so lacking, I was shocked. 

Desiree made sure we had a thorough understanding of all aspects of being a notary. The recent training I took seemed like she was more interested in padding out the time and letting students know how much money they could make by notarizing stuff. 

I felt bad for the one student in the training who was brand new to being a notary. For example, the instructor never even talked about what you do if the document you are asked to notarize doesn't have the notary language on the document. Desiree talked in detail about this, and I purchased the acknowledgement and jurat stamps so I was prepared for that situation. 

So, I just wanted to say thank you again to Desiree. I refer back to her handouts and the notes I took often. If I'm ever asked, I will definitely only recommend the Roman Endeavors training.
