All live individual workshops (not Pre-recorded) are eligible for promo or discount codes.  To receive a discount or promotion code, sign up on the Contact Us/Promo Codes page.  There is only one promo/discount code per person, per workshop. Promos and discounts are subject to change.  

Businesses are not eligible for promo codes as a group, but we do offer a discount if there are at least 10 people attending the workshop.

We offer a free informational workshop on what it means to become an Illinois Notary Public.  We also provide you information on the process to become an Illinois Notary Public, and ways you can earn income as a Notary Public. This is only available by signing up for our online webinar.   

New Notary Workshop 101 - ILLINOIS MANDATORY TRAINING & EXAM 

This workshop satisfies the requirement for Illinois Notaries to complete a course of study as part of the commission application process, and prepares the Notary to pass Illinois’ State-required Notary exam following the session. 

This workshop teaches you how to properly execute the responsibilities of a Notary Public for face-to-face and remote audio-visual notarizations.  It is a live workshop, available in-person at your business location or as a live webinar.  Also included is the mandatory exam that contains 50 multiple-choice and true/false questions.  

We offer informative instruction in a limited group setting to enable personalized attention to participants.  The course reviews the latest Illinois Notary Public Act 5 ILCS 312 policy and procedures, including guidelines as determined by the latest approved administrative codes of the Illinois Notary Public Act Rules, 14 Admin Code 176.

Interactive participation includes proper procedures for identity verification and distinguishing various notarial documents needed to complete a notarization.

Seminar leaders are well versed and experienced with Illinois notary public responsibilities and the notarial process.

This workshop is ONLY for new notaries who have already applied for and/or received their notary commission.  If you have applied or submitted an application to renew your commission and have not yet received it, you should ensure you receive it before before enrolling in this workshop.   

If you have not yet applied or renewed your commission, you SHOULD NOT enroll in this course.  This is NOT the state mandatory course and exam.  See New Notary Workshop 101.

The Illinois notary laws have changed and this workshop will review those changes.  This workshop does NOT teach you how to perform remote online or electronic notarizations, but will review the topic as it relates to the new law changes.

This is not a training course for new or renewing notaries who require mandatory training and passing an exam.  Nor does it include Remote Online Notary training or Electronic Notary training.  THIS WORKSHOP IS AVAILABLE FOR A LIMITED TIME.

NOTE: If you have taken this course in the past, you should NOT take this workshop as a refresher course or to be updated on the new laws.  You need to take the Annual Notary Workshop 103. 

This workshop is for notaries that have already taken the New Notary 101 or 102 training, or received  their commission after taking the state-approved training and test, and at least one year has passed since your commission was issued.  This workshop is available in a live webinar or in-person session format, and will only review remote audio-visual and electronic signature notarizations processes - this course does NOT walk you through the step-by-step of RONs or ES.

We keep you abreast of the new laws that effect you as an Illinois Notary Public. 

We offer informative instruction in a limited group setting to enable personalized attention to each participant.

This workshop reviews some of the topics from the New Notary workshop - 102, focuses on the latest updates and changes to Illinois Notary Public law, and involves some hands-on interactive scenarios.  Live webinar workshops will include the mailing of materials to your home or office- all fees included.

Seminar leaders are well versed and experienced with Illinois Notary Public responsibilities and The Notary Public Code of Professional Responsibility.

NOTE: This course should be taken annually (at least one year after completing the Notary 101 or 102 workshop.)  If your company participates in an annual workshop with us, your specialized workshop is modified and tailored to your organization based on your staff's previous workshop. Rest assured your annual session will always include the most recent law updates, in-depth notary review and fresh interactive workshop materials, ensuring your notary employees continue to adhere to sound policies and practices.

NOTE: This course is NOT a substitute for the mandatory course and testing.  This is for current notaries who have a commission set to renew after 2024 who need to know the new law changes to be compliant as a notary for the State of Illinois.

This workshop is designed for Supervisors who oversee Notary staff.  This course is only available as a live webinar.

We teach you to properly manage Notary staff, providing your organization with the tools necessary to ensure notarizations are executed according to state laws, which ultimately helps minimize your company's risk.

We offer informative instruction in a small group setting to enable personalized attention to each participant. The workshop reviews the Illinois Notary Public policy and procedures for proper notarizations, including an overview of the latest Illinois Notary Public Act 5 ILCS 312 policy and procedures, including guidelines as determined by the latest approved administrative codes of the Illinois Notary Public Act Rules, 14 Admin Code 176.

Interactive participation includes ways to assist in troubleshooting common issues faced by Notaries, and ways to support your staff to ensure compliance with state laws, notary rules, and best practices. 

Seminar leaders are well versed and experienced with Illinois Notary Public responsibilities and management of notary employees.

Webinar workshop materials will be mailed to you no later than 24 hours before the scheduled webinar begins.

ANY NOTARY IN ANY STATE MAY TAKE THIS COURSE. 

This course is a virtual two-day intensive workshop that teaches you how to use your notary commission to earn income as a Notary Loan Signing Agent.   It is a live webinar that you must attend over a two day period, for up to 2.5 hours each day.  This workshop will teach the following:

• TRID Training (Closing Disclosure)
• Homestead Training (specific to Illinois)

• How to handle difficult customers or refusals to sign
• Tips on starting your business
• Where to find affordable supplies, insurance and background checks
• Work assignment & other employment resources
• Workshop materials are included and will be mailed to you no later than 24 hours prior to your first scheduled session

You must already have your Notary Commission and have completed the New Notary 101 or 102 Workshop (or have taken and passed a state-approved notary training and/or test) in order to register for this workshop.
