Workshop Descriptions

 We offer a free informational workshop on what it means to become an Illinois Notary Public.  We also provide you information on the process to become an Illinois Notary Public, and ways you can earn income as a Notary Public. This is only available by signing up for our on-line webinar.  

This workshop is ONLY for new notaries who already received their notary commission.  If you have applied or submitted an application to renew your commission and have not yet received it, you MUST WAIT before enrolling in this workshop to ensure the state will issue your commission without requiring the pending state-approved mandatory course and testing.   

This workshop teaches you how to properly execute the responsibilities of a Notary Public in face-to-face transactions only.  It is available in either a pre-recorded or live webinar.

We offer informative instruction in a limited group setting to enable personalized attention to participants.  The course reviews the Illinois Notary Public policy and procedures, including guidelines as determined by the landmark Vancura v Katris ruling.

Interactive participation includes proper procedures for identity verification and distinguishing various notarial documents needed to complete a notarization.

Seminar leaders are well versed and experienced with Illinois notary public responsibilities and the notarial process.

For Pre-recorded workshops, materials will be available for download and you will need to print.  The option to have workshop materials mailed to your home or office is available (additional fee applies.)  Live workshops will include the mailing of materials to your home or office- all fees included.

This is not a training course for new or renewing notaries applying for commissions after July 1st, 2022 who require mandatory training and testing.  Nor does it include Remote Online Notary training or Electronic Notary training.  That particular training is not available at this time. Pending finalization of the new Illinois Notary changes currently under review by the State, there are no State-approved vendors yet who is authorized to provide that training. We will update our workshops and website when Illinois has finalized the law changes and if we opt to become an approved vendor. THIS WORKSHOP IS AVAILABLE FOR A LIMITED TIME.

NOTE: If you have taken this course in the past, you should NOT take this workshop as a refresher course.  You need to take the Annual Notary Workshop 103. 

This workshop is for notaries that have already taken the New Notary 102 training, or received  their commission after taking the state-approved training and test, and at least one year has passed since your commission was issued.  This workshop is only available in a live webinar and is for face-to-face transactions only.*

The workshop reviews some of the topics from the New Notary Workshop - 102, provides the latest updates on changes to Illinois Notary Public law, and focuses on The Notary Public Code of Professional Responsibility.

Interactive participation includes reviewing of the 10 Guiding Principles and Standards of Professional and Ethical Practice, as well as address common problems, particularly matters of conflicting interest.

Seminar leaders are well versed and experienced with Illinois Notary Public responsibilities and The Notary Public Code of Professional Responsibility.

Live workshops will include the mailing of materials to your home or office- all fees included.

NOTE: This course should be taken annually (at least one year after completing the Notary 102 workshop.)  If your company receives an annual training from us, your specialized training is modified and tailored to your organization based on your staff's previous training. Rest assured your annual session will always include the most recent law updates, in-depth notary review and fresh interactive workshop materials, ensuring your notary employees continue to adhere to sound policies and practices.

*Future workshops may include Remote Online Notarization review once the State has approved the initial training.

This workshop is designed for Supervisors who oversee Notary staff.  This course is only available as a pre-recorded workshop.

We teach you to properly manage Notary staff, providing your organization with the tools necessary to ensure notarizations are executed according to state laws, which ultimately helps minimize your company's risk.

We offer informative instruction in a small group setting to enable personalized attention to each participant. The workshop reviews the Illinois Notary Public policy and procedures for proper notarizations, including a review of the guidelines as determined by the Vancura v Katris ruling.

Interactive participation includes ways to assist in troubleshooting common issues faced by Notaries, and ways to support your staff to ensure compliance with state laws, notary rules, and best practices. 

Seminar leaders are well versed and experienced with Illinois Notary Public responsibilities and management of notary employees.

Workshop materials will be available for download and you will need to print.  The option to have workshop materials mailed to your home or office is available (additional fee applies.)

This course is a virtual three-day intensive workshop that teaches you how to use your notary commission to earn income as a Notary Loan Signing Agent.  ANY NOTARY IN ANY STATE MAY TAKE THIS COURSE.  It is a live webinar that you must attend over a three day period, for up to two hours each day.  This workshop will teach the following:

You must already have your Notary Commission and have completed the New Notary Workshop (or have taken and passed a state-approved training and/or test) in order to register for this workshop.
